Serious about clean carpets? - Read on!

Have you ever had a bad experience with carpet cleaning, or poor results with spots returning? Have you ever wondered how steam cleaning works and what sort of results to expect? Here are some answers to commonly asked questions.

What is steam cleaning?
Each individual carpet is given a careful inspection and assessment. Stains are pre-treated and then high pressure hot water is injected into the carpet and extracted again by powerful suction, recovering the water and soiling and disposing of it through our recovery tank. This method cleans the whole carpet fibre from top to bottom, deep cleaning the carpet.

How often should my carpet be cleaned?
Manufacturers recommend singles/couples have their carpet cleaned every eighteen months, whereas a family, every twelve months. Commercial premises should be cleaned every twelve months as a minimum, or as otherwise directed by occupational health and safety requirements.

Is it value for money?
Your carpet fibres are deep cleaned from top to bottom allowing for longer intervals between cleans, thereby providing value for money.

Who cleans my carpet?
A skilled, highly trained technician using proven techniques and the most effective treatments with technologically advanced, powerful truck mounted Prochem Performer 405 with Nissan 1200 cc engine.

What is done to my carpet?
Each carpet is inspected and evaluated. The carpet fibre is identified so that it can be treated with the most effective cleaning agents and methods. Any specific needs are identified and treated.

This is followed by pre-vacuuming with a hospital grade vacuum filtration system to remove contaminants, removing the maximum amount of soiling. This is also beneficial for asthma and allergy sufferers.

After vacuuming, a hot pre-spray of cleaning agents to break down the maximum amount of soils and removable stains is applied to the carpet. The pre-spray is mechanically agitated into the carpet pile and then extracted by powerful hot water extraction for deep pile cleaning.

After the soiling is extracted from the carpet, it is conditioned with rinsing agents to leave it soft and free of residue.

The carpet is then groomed to give it a uniform finish and maximize rapid drying. When necessary, high volume air moving equipment can be used to speed dry the carpet.

We are committed to achieving and maintaining the best results for you.
